Job Responsibilities:
As an engineer in the Production team, you would be responsible for:

  • Start-up activities of the assigned machine prior to the onset of production run
  • Running through the pre-production checklist of your area and confirmation of machine fitness for production
  • Operation of HMI (Human Machine Interface – usually a touchscreen/button operated panel) which includes
    • navigating through various screens to monitor the status of operations,
    • track status of slabs in the line
    • check the quality of material condition
    • understand the system status and
    • troubleshoot alarms if any
  • Preventive and Breakdown maintenance of the corresponding machinery and equipment in the area
  • Cleaning and housekeeping operations during and post production
  • Training and management of cleaning personnel in your area
  • Following and implementation of safe work practices and 5S in your area
  • Maintenance of all production logs and ISO 9001:2015 documents
  • Meeting daily production and quality targets.

Education: Diploma/B tech/M tech in Ceramic Engineering/Print Engineering
Experience: 5+ years in ceramic industry in production area
Technical Skills:

  • Photoshop or image editing software skills
  • Good to fluent speech in English and Hindi
  • Usage of instruments like thickness gauge, Vernier callipers etc
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to ceramic manufacturing processes
  • Strong verbal and written
  • Communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ease in performing basic mathematical calculations
  • Strong understanding of ceramic materials and processing techniques (e.g., sintering, moulding, casting, glazing).
  • Familiarity with advanced ceramics, including functional ceramics and ceramic composites.
  • Basic computer knowledge of MS Excel and internet
  • Usage of basic tools like spanners, wrench etc to perform basic maintenance/troubleshooting activities
  • Read and Write proficiency in English and Telugu

Abilities:

  • Stretch for multiple shifts if required
  • Be flexible to work in other area or city if required
  • Work in any designated shift
  • Physical fitness for withstanding low intensity vibration, sound, standing, walking, climbing and lifting of loads up to 25kgs.
